Park Plaza London Riverbank
Park Plaza London Riverbank:
Lovely hotel with stunning views of the Thames. Houses of Parliament and the London Eye and in a very good location with friendly staff. Breakfast was top class. However this was let down by a number of factors which makes me want to think twice before booking this hotel again. We paid extra to upgrade our room to an executive on the 8th floor, however when we got to the room it was cold and the heating didn’t work no matter how hot we set it to. Our room had a nesspresso coffee machine however it didn’t have any pods, milk and the coffee cups were espresso size and no kettle. We went to reception at 11pm there wasn’t a soul around which is a security risk. I had to ask a cleaner to find someone who came out from the back. The cleaner eventually brought us pods, milk a kettle and we had to plead for an electric heater and extra duvet as it was really cold. Also the floor design is terrible. It’s carpeted on one side but the section under the bed is all wood/laminate style flooring which is very cold so when coming back from the bathroom you get shocked by the cold floor before climbing into bed. Also the insulation is not good. We heard scraping chairs above us up until 2am. We couldn’t understand and could only think there’s rooms on the 9th floor or above that which have tables and chairs but ours didn’t so would be interested to know what type of rooms are above the 8th floor. We had dinner there and ordered G&T’s each was £10? Either the barman made a mistake or that is an exorbitant price for a single G&T. I also left my sunglasses on the table and the hotel said they would be in touch but have yet to hear from them.

Park Plaza Cardiff
We booked into the Park Plaza Hotel in Cardiff for the Cardiff half marathon, we could have booked into a much cheaper hotel but we thought we'd spend a bit more so we could guarantee a good night's sleep. We were given room number 112. We were kept awake until 1am with music and revellers coming from the events being held at the hotel! We were then woken up at 3am with people moving the furniture around on the ground floor as the events team started cleaning up, this continued until 4am! When we made a complaint to the desk about the noise they denied the noise took place and then suggested coming on a weekday instead to avoid the noise!! As you can guess we didn't have a great sleep, don't bother paying their prices, go to the cheaper hotels, they guarantee a good night's sleep!!

We booked a Christmas Party in Cardiff …
We booked a Christmas Party in Cardiff but with currently climate we’ve had 14 members of staff drop out due to Covid.
We asked for a refund, no.
We asked to re arrange so all the staff could enjoy. No!!! They said we would have to May more again if we wanted to change it.
The staff were unbearably rude with absolutely no empathy.
I understand everyone runs a business but you are multi world wide owned company and we are a small firm in South West Wales
You are a complete disgrace

Stayed at Park Plaza Victoria for 2…
Stayed at Park Plaza Victoria for 2 days this week. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful at all times. Beautiful room and great service.
Wasting water is stupid.
Stayed here this weekend for 2 nights in what they called a “superior room”. Staff were very polite and willing to help, but there are a couple of issues that need sorting. I complained that the bathroom sink did not have a working plug and water was running away wasting water. A maintainance man called and declared that this was how it was meant to be due to COVID. So I said, COVID means you have to waste water does it ?
Yes was the reply. Weird if you ask me, when we are all being urged to conserve resources. Hey, what do I know ?
Cooked breakfast was good though.

I booked a one night stay at Park Plaza…
I booked a one night stay at Park Plaza at Leeds after purchasing two tickets for a Diana Ross concert which was cancelled due to Covid restrictions.
Therefore I cancelled my hotel and I was told I could not have a refund. However I was given an email which stated I could rebook within a year.I still have the confirmation email which I have sent a copy to the hotel.
Due to Covid restrictions I could not make a booking and the hotel was closed.
Since the lifting of restrictions I rang the hotel and was told I had used the booking and stayed and checked out of the hotel which was not the case.
I paid the money through booking.com and contacted them and my money was paid to the hotel.
I feel I am not alone in this scenario due to Covid restrictions and have asked for the manager to escalate this complaint.

My amazing stay at Park Plaza Westminster
The staff at Park Plaza in Westminister, London have been nothing short of amazing. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks, and I can honestly say the staff were absolutely fabulous.
My property was flooded so during this time we booked a stay here. We were given an accommodating room with full facilities and a great view.
Room service & cleaning staff were excellent, they provided us with regular cleaning attendance, fresh towels and checked in with me everyday to make sure my family were enjoying the stay. The food was lovely too.
As we were in the summer term holiday's staff ensured that my children were able to swim everyday they even held a movie night in one of their event rooms which the kids loved. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in London short or long term.
I would like to thank the whole team for their amazing customer services and ensuring that our stay was nothing short of great.
To Phil and the whole team thank you very much!

I can't believe one of my favorite…
I can't believe one of my favorite hotels to stay at in London when I visit would gift a stay to the Ingham family.the father has groomed fans one victim had just turned 16 and has autism so she is very vulnerable and he tried to lure her from her hotel room this happened in America in a state where the age of consent is 18 so if he returns he will be arrested! the other victim was suicidal so he lured her from Scotland to make her better by taking advantage and there's others.you really need to do a better job of vetting these YouTubers before offering them free stays for advertising as it could backfire on you like this has.
No refund despite hotel cancelling my bookin
I booked this hotel for December 2020 via booking.com but the show we went to see was cancelled, The booking was moved to be used December 2021 (in the future). In December 2020 for some reason the Park Plaza hotel cancelled the booking and the booking.com advisor advised i would get a refund. In February still no refund, so called booking.com and have a message dated 02.02.2021 saying that I will receive a full refund in 7 - 12 days or 15 worst case. 16th March I call the hotel only to be told I will now not receive my refund for 90 business days from the 2nd of February (the date I chased to find out why i hadn't received a refund)
MY booking reference is 3511796455.
I don't think hotels should change their policies like the wind to hold on to clients money when they cancelled bookings...they cannot use covid as an excuse to fleece members of the public who have substantially less income than a global hotel chain. It's a disgrace and would like a manager to escalate this complatin.

I used this hotel a week again for business and I was extremely happy with it and can’t recommend enough . It was stringently covid safe nothing was over looked - The room was lovely large and well maintained it had a mini kitchen and a lovely spacious outside balcony . Breakfast was English and continental selection brought to the room which was also delicious. Hotel was very good value for money and I would very much use when returning to London .

Three cheers to park plaza hotel for providing free accommodation and meals to NHS staff. It has reduced my granddaughters travelling time from 3 hours per day to 40 minutes. This after a 12 hour shift- congratulations to park plaza Westminster and helpful kind staff.

Do not stay in Westminster bridge park…
Do not stay in Westminster bridge park plaza London, manager was so rude, people next door in the hotel room smoking and having partys, complained and was told by manager it is our fault we should have complained sooner and they have been kicked out. Was then told that we only complained for compensation, wouldn't have minded but was more than satisfied the people had been kicked out and didn't care about any form of compensation so was shocked manager even suggested it. Won't stay here ever again!

We arrived to plaza Schwerin for one…
We arrived to plaza Schwerin for one night
D. 23.07.2020
When we got our room, the fridges was broken.
We asked in the reception if the instead will give us some ice. But the said that this was not was possible.
When we went to our beed, the madras var totally unacceptable to sleep in. The was so damaging with small sticks with went out of the madness, so it was impossible to lie on it.
We turn on the madress upside down and it’s was better.
The to staff members was overburdened and couldn’t help os.
The next morning we take to the receptionist “a man “ but he didn’t care. We showed pictures to him, but his English was wery poor and he showed no sign of interest in trying to understand our problem.
The included breakfast was way below
normal standard and broke roule COVID-19 restrictions.
